Vinod Doshi passes away

Well known film producer and financier, Vinodrai Amarchand Doshi passed away on October 31, 2006 in Bombay. Father of film producer Gaurang Doshi is survived by his wife Madhukanta Doshi, son Gaurang Doshi, daughter Sonal Shah and son-in-law Sishir Shah.

Vinod Doshi had started his banner V. R. Pictures in 1969 and had produced films like Faulad, Pandhratan, Sashcha Jhoota, Blackmail, Nastik, Aankhen and Deewar. He had presented films like Dil, Beta, Raja Raajkumar and Bhawander. He was also instrumental in financing several films too.
