Vikram Bhatt is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Creature 3D, which will be India's first 3D creature film. While everyone must have thought that Vikram would take inspiration from Hollywood creatures like Godzilla and Anaconda, it has now been revealed that the filmmaker's Creature is a Brahmarakshas.

When asked why he chose a Brahamarakshas for his film, Bhatt said that he didn't want to borrow from American culture and therefore, chose a mutant from the Indian mythology. He has revealed that the monster in his film is 10-feet tall, has a swishing tail and is in the same league as the Yeti.

Vikram has stated that he first went to a couple of foreign studios to create the creature however, when they quoted a very high price for it, he approached Chennai-based Prasad EFX, where finally his creature was made.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film stars Bipasha Basu and Pakistani actor, Imran Abbas Naqvi in the lead roles.
