Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif's Merry Christmas Postponed To January 2024

Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan, featuring the dynamic duo of Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, has been postponed again. The film was scheduled to be released on 8th December 2023, but will now come out in January 2024.

Merry Christmas will now be released on January 12, 2024. There are two big films coming on 1st December, Animal and Sam Bahadur, who will get a 3-week free run now until Salaar and Dunki hit the cinemas on Christmas week.The official statement of Merry Christmas' makers (Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures) reads, "We have made this film with a lot of love & passion like every filmmaker does; however, with the back-to-back movie releases and packed last two months of 2023, we have taken the decision to extend the season of joy and bring our film to the theatres on 12th January 2024."
