Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is on cloud nine as not only has his film PK been declared an all-time blockbuster in India but it has also managed to cross the 100 crore mark in China, where it was recently released. Chopra says that PK was a difficult film for them to make and that they are happy that so many people across the globe have appreciated the Aamir Khan starrer.
At the film’s success bash VVC, said, ”I would like to thank all the viewers, who have supported PK. It was a difficult film for us to make and we were very apprehensive about it but we did it and it’s a great feeling that even in China we have done more than 100 crores. We never judge our films by the kind of money they make but so many people have seen it that makes us very happy.”
”More than numbers, I’m happy about the fact that so many people have seen this film across the globe and somewhere this film has touched their hearts and that is the biggest success for us,” he further added.
PK also stars Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt, Sushant Singh Rajput and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles.
