Vicky Kaushal is set to undergo a major physical transformation for his upcoming film Mahavatar, where he will play the role of Lord Parashuram. According to a report by mid-day, the actor will build a heavy, wrestler-like physique for the epic drama.

A source told the publication, “The actor cannot begin his physical prep as he is currently shooting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, in which he sports an athletic look. For Mahavatar, he will need to build a heavy frame like that of a wrestler, complete with a rugged look and long, matted hair. After Love & War reaches the finish line in April, the actor will adopt a new diet plan and workout regime to attain the required look.”

Vicky is known for dedicating himself completely to his roles. In the past, he has transformed his body for films like Uri The Surgical Strike, Sam Bahadur and Chhaava. However, insiders suggest that Mahavatar will require one of his most intense transformations yet. The role demands not just physical strength but also a fierce and commanding screen presence.

The source further added that due to the distinct and powerful look required for the mythological epic, Vicky is unlikely to sign any new projects while working on the film. Maintaining continuity in appearance will be crucial.
