On Friday, Karan Johar‘s Dharma Production put their fans in suspense with a mysterious post. The post mentioned that the makers are all set to treat their audience with a franchise of fear, the horror film franchise will be produced by Karan Johar, as per reports the film could be directed by debutante director Bhanu Pratap Singh, who has been an assistant to director Shashank Khaitan. As KJo has also tagged them in the post.
The post adds up to further speculations that the horror film which is slated to release on 15th November, 2019 can be based against the backdrop of an abandoned ship on the shore due to the deliberate usage of the words “sea” and “anchoring” in the post. As per reports earlier this year the horror film will feature Bhumi Pednekar opposite Vicky Kaushal in an extended cameo, for a high-concept scary story that revolves around a static ship in Mumbai. Incidentally this fresh duo is already roped in for the same banner’s much anticipated film, Takht to be released on December 2020.
While the post has escalated enough excitement on social media, let’s wait to find out more official details about the film on Monday, June 10.
