Veteran Choreographer Saroj Khan Passes Away

Legendary Bollywood choreographer, Saroj Khan, who had been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, a few days ago, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was 72.

The veteran choreographer was admitted to Guru Nanak hospital in Bandra East after she complained of breathing issues. She died of cardiac arrest at 1.51 am on Friday at the hospital. She had tested negative for Coronavirus. Saroj Khan is survived by her husband, son and two daughters.

In her glorious career spanning three decades, the three-time National Award-winning dance director had choreographed songs like 'Ek Do Teen', 'Hum Ko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar', 'Dhak Dhak Karne Laga', “Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai', 'Nimbooda' and 'Dola Re Dola' to name a few. She had last worked on Karan Johar's Kalank, in which she had directed Madhuri Dixit in 'Tabah Ho Gaye'.
