Veteran actress Sadhana Shivdasani passed away on Friday in Mumbai. The actress breathed her last at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital. She was 74.
The actress was detected with a small bleeding lesion in her mouth, which was cancerous, in 2014 and she underwent a critical surgery for the same last year. She will be cremated tomorrow.
Sadhana not only gave Bollywood several timeless films like Mera Saaya, Woh Kaun Thi and Waqt to name a few but was also a pioneer in setting trends. She introduced the fringe hairstyle to the Indian film industry in her first film Love In Simla and it became so popular that everyone started calling it the Sadhana cut.
We at MovieTalkies offer our condolences to her family.
