Gujarati Movie Vash 2 wrapped; Will This Lead To Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan 2?

Vash 2 x Shaitaan 2 connection?:

Ajay Devgn's Shaitaan was a remake of the superhit Gujarati movie Vash (2023). The Hindi remake featuring Devgn, along with R. Madhavan, Jyothika, and the original Vash girl Janki Bodiwala, was a box office hit. Soon after the box office and critical success, the makers announced Part 2 of Shaitaan, but the film is still in the writing process.

On the other hand, the Gujarati team announced Vash Part 2 and has even wrapped filming for the sequel. The director, Vash Level 2, declared the wrap on his social media platform, so the speculations of this leading to Shaitaan 2 are quite obvious.

Previously, Ajay starred in the remake of the Malayalam classic Drishyam and also remade its sequel, Drishyam 2. The work on Drishyam 3 is also ongoing, so it's pretty presumable that Shaitaan 2 will follow the same suit. The team had already announced Shaitaan 2 last year, and the film is currently in the writing stage. Will this be another remake, or will it pursue a new story this time? In our last conversation with writer Aamil Keeyan Khan, he confirmed that he is writing the sequel but did not reveal any details about the storyline. It will be interesting to see whether he adopts the story from Vash 2 or writes a fresh script for the Ajay Devgn-starrer sequel.
