Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are busy filming the climax act for their upcoming film, ‘Street Dancer 3D’. The duo are rehearsing hard for the final dancing act, where they will be seen competing against dance troupes from across the world, including UK, Germany, Nepal and Africa. Varun, who is taking six long hours practise sessions every day at a studio in Andheri for the same, recently twisted his knee while practising some tough Bhangra moves and other dance forms like Urban and Street hip-hop.
A source close to the development has revealed, on Tuesday, while rehearsing with choreographers Rahul Shetty, Dharmesh and Tashan from UK, the actor got injured as he twisted his knee. But Varun being the professional that he is has refused to take a break and simply got his left knee taped to support the muscles and carried on with the rehearsals. The source further added, that the practise sessions are like mock rehearsals of what they will be performing on camera for the climax act.
Street Dancer 3D is directed by Remo D’souza and collaboratively produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo’s wife, Lizelle D’souza which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. The team has already shot for the rest of the film in Amritsar, London and Dubai. The last schedule of the film is now left, that will be shot at a studio in Mumbai where they will film the climax of the movie which is slated to release on January 24, 2020.
