Vaani Kapoor finally reacts to the Pahalgam attack:
Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor has been receiving a lot of criticism for her latest film, Abir Gulaal. She is working with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in this movie. The criticism and demand for a boycott escalated in the last couple of days after the Pahalgam attack. Now even the Indian government is taking action against Pakistan, so it is not appropriate to let a movie with a Pakistani actor have a release in India.
After facing a lot of criticism on the internet, actress Vaani Kapoor has finally reacted to the Pahalgam attack and expressed her grief for the innocent people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack. Have a look at her post below:
Vaani wrote, "I have been numb, at a loss for words since the time I saw the attack on innocent people in Pahalgam. Gutted. Devastated. My prayers are with the families."
Some people have already been asking to ban the film, but after this Pahalgam incident, almost everyone is asking to boycott and ban the film in India. Theatre owners have no second thoughts at the moment about not playing the movie in India, so the film is likely to miss its theatrical release in Indian cinemas.
