Urvashi Rautela Slammed:
Bollywood and South actress Urvashi Rautela recently stated that she has a temple named after her near the Badrinath Temple. During an interaction with Siddarth Kannan, the Daaku Maharaaj actress claimed that people visit Urvashi Temple to seek her blessings.
"Even Hollywood agrees, after Shah Rukh Khan, it's me," says Urvashi Rautela; Netizens Troll Her Again —
The statement went viral on the internet, and people began criticizing the actress for her self-obsession. However, it has now been revealed that the Urvashi Temple in Badrinath is dedicated to Goddess Urvashi, one of the forms of Goddess Sati, but the actress believes it is her temple.
A former member of the religious committee of Badrinath Dham, Mr. Bhuwan Chandra Uniyal, and a local priest have confirmed that the Urvashi Temple belongs to Goddess Urvashi and not the actress. "The temple is part of our sacred traditions and is counted among the 108 Shaktipeeths. It is not her temple. Such statements are unacceptable, and the government should take strict action against anyone making such claims," Uniyal told India Today. Now, netizens are targeting Urvashi yet again for misleading statements and her delusional obsession.
