The Underwater Kissing Scene In 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' Goes Viral; Siddhant Chaturvedi Reacts

Siddhant Chaturvedi aka MC Sher from Gully Boy is hoping to change his image from MC Sher to New Babli with his upcoming comedy flick Bunty Aur Babli 2. It's his first film as the quintessential masala Hindi film hero and he is very happy about the response recieved so far for the trailer and song. He is paired opposite the debutant Sharvari who plays the new Babli. Today, Yash Raj Films has released the new romantic song the film Luv Ju, which showcases the intimate chemistry between these two. One underwater kissing scene from the song has gone viral today within no time and fans are continuously talking about it on social media.

Siddhant Chaturvedi opens up about shooting the underwater kissing scenes, "We didn’t expect to shoot such a difficult romantic intimate scene in my first film as a lead! Not only was it shot underwater, and we had to lip sync the song underwater but we also had to hold our breath and share a passionate kiss! I think we were given a massive task as actors and Sharvari and I completely trusted each other and also surrendered to the vision of Vaibhavi Merchant to perform this scene."Siddhant has also revealed that he battled hydrophobia while shooting this sequence. He says, “When we saw the scene post shoot, all the hardship and difficulties that we had to endure was worth it! It looks beautiful and the scene really brings out the chemistry and the beautiful relationship that the new Bunty and Babli share in the film.”

Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji play the OG Bunty and Babli who are pitted against new the pair of Bunty and Babli in the film. Directed by Varun V. Sharma, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is Yash Raj Films’ first big theatrical release post lockdown. The film is set to release worldwide on November 19, 2021.
