Udit Narayan first wife files a case against him over property:

Bollywood singer Udit Narayan has made headlines yet again for the wrong reasons. The actor was recently in the news for kissing a female fan during a live concert and has been slammed by netizens for the act. Now, he finds himself in legal trouble.

The Raja Hindustani singer has been accused of cheating over a property deal by his first wife, Ranjana Jha. She filed a case stating that he sold a property belonging to her and kept the money hidden from her. The amount in question here is Rs. 18 lakhs. In her petition, she claimed that her husband has cheated her financially.

Udit Narayan appeared before the court on February 21 and denied all the claims. Moreover, he accused his first wife of extortion, telling the court that she is trying to extort money from him.

Udit and Ranjana married in 1984, after which he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in Bollywood. He later married Deepa Gahatraj while keeping his first marriage hidden. Narayan eventually agreed to take care of his first wife and began providing her with a maintenance amount. Ranjana claimed that he has been neglecting her for some time now, to which he has not yet responded. She also stated that she is being chased and threatened by goons.
