Udit Narayan Accused By First Wife Of Removing Her Uterus:

Renowned Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan is facing fresh controversy after his first wife, Ranjana Narayan Jha, filed a serious complaint against him at the Women’s Police Station in Supaul, Bihar. In her written application, Ranjana has accused the singer of having her uterus removed without her consent during a medical visit decades ago.

According to the complaint, Ranjana married Udit Narayan on December 7, 1984. She said that after their marriage, he moved to Mumbai to build his career, and she later learned through media reports that he had married another woman, Deepa Narayan. Ranjana claims she was misled repeatedly when she asked about this.

The most shocking part of her allegation relates to an incident in 1996. Ranjana says Udit, his two brothers — Sanjay Kumar Jha and Lalit Narayan Jha — and Deepa took her to a large hospital in Delhi on the pretext of treatment. She alleges that her uterus was surgically removed there without her knowledge or consent. Ranjana says she only discovered this years later during treatment for another health issue.

Ranjana also accused Udit Narayan and Deepa of mistreatment when she visited Mumbai in 2006 and said she was forced to return to her parental home. She claims she has filed earlier complaints in court and with the Women’s Commission but felt justice was not served.

Police officials have confirmed that a complaint has been received and that the matter, involving events from almost three decades ago, is under investigation. An FIR will be registered as the inquiry proceeds. So far, Udit Narayan has not issued any public statement responding to the latest allegations.
