Kunal Deshmukh's film on the July 26 disaster is now ready for release. The film, 'Tum Mile', which stars Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan will be hitting the theatres on November 13. It was shot in Bhandup, where the director recreated the floods and the trauma of the floods.
Even though the shooting took place under controlled conditions, the set that the director had created was so realistic that actress Soha had absolutely no problems in emoting. It seems that the water on the sets was so high that it could submerge cars and autos, making it difficult for the actors to wade through the water and reach the shooting spot. The actress, who herself went through a traumatic experience during July 26, feels that the film is quite topical as the people of Mumbai continue to be vulnerable to natural calamities like this as there is yet no infrastructure in place to deal with such disasters. It seems that Kunal wanted to make this film even before 'Jannat', but could not find a producer. Now with one hit under his belt, he is definitely a more saleable name. The film deals with love in the time of disaster, which as an emotion is much more universal. This is the first time that Soha will be acting opposite Emraan. And as expected, the actor will have his share of kisses in the movie.
