Luv Ranjan's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has brought us Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's fresh pairing. The genre of romantic comedy has been missing from Bollywood for a while, and TJMM is looking to end that wait. The trailer has been launched at an event in Mumbai today. Watch it below:
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's rom-com is about temporary love goals that are hard to break. More than true love, it's about fake romance. Maybe that's the fun here because true love has been boring us for the last 50 years or so. But something is missing here. The spark, maybe, that we saw in Luv Ranjan's previous trailers like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and Pyaar Ka Punchnama.This time Luv has got a better topic, so we hope he makes a full-on entertainer. Also, it is not about multiple protagonists like his previous films. Overall, it's a decent trailer, but Luv definitely had better ones. Ranbir-Shraddha's fan following and the Holi festival will boost this one, but in the end, Luv Ranjan's trademark content is what will carry the film in the long run. Let's see how this one fares at the box office.
