'Top Gun' Director Tony Scott Commits Suicide!

Tony Scott, the brother of acclaimed director Ridley Scott and the director of Tom Cruise starrer Top Gun committed suicide by jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California on Sunday.

Scott's body was pulled out of the water by officials of the LAPD, California Highway Patrol, and U.S. Coast Guard officials, and the coroner's office identified him Sunday evening. At the time of his death, Scott was said to be working on a sequel to Top Gun, which was supposed to star Tom Cruise. Scott is survived by his wife, Donna Scott, and their two young sons.
