Top 10 Bollywood Opening Day Collection in 2021; 'Sooryavanshi' Tops By Margin

Bollywood is finally coming back to life with new releases after the lockdown. Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi managed to get a grand release in Diwali and it certainly brought back the audience to cinemas. The new releases in this week are not that high but soon we will have major films coming in December, which may deliver good numbers again.

Sooryavanshi was boosted by the festival period but it was a big event film and also a long-awaited one. The cumulative results have made it the First Box Office Hit since Pandemic striked in March 2020. The lifetime numbers of the film are expected to end at 190 crore+ nett making it a very successful venture whereas Bunty Aur Babli 2 will end up below 25 crore nett mark. Satyameva Jayate 2 has started seeing fall from day two so it's certain that it will go the same way Bunty Aur Babli 2 went. As for Antim, it has scored the second biggest opening in 2021 but we have to wait till Monday to see whether the film will cross the 30 crore nett mark or not. 2) Antim - 4.75 crore

3) Satyameva Jayate 2 - 3.00 crore

4) BellBottom - 2.78 crore

5) Roohi - 2.73 crore

6) Mumbai Saga - 2.64 crore

7) Bunty Aur Babli 2 - 2.60 crore

8) Chehre - 43 Lacs

9) Thalaivii (Hindi) - 22 Lacs

10) Saina - 21 Lacs

Sooryavanshi has topped the list by a huge margin and is likely to keep the first rank. The next two Bollywood biggies in 2021 are 83 and Jersey, which won't have a Holiday on their opening day so it's safe to say that Sooryavanshi will remain the biggest opener of 2021.
