Tia Bajpai: 'In 'Lanka', Vibhishan turns into Lord Ram for Sita!'

After her cell-churning outing in the spooky Haunted 3D, Tia Bajpai is now readying to spotlight her histrionics in Lanka, wherein she'll be spotted in a role that's quite a departure from her debut.

"I'm playing Dr. Anju in Lanka, discloses Tia Bajpai. "She's a small-town girl. I play a typical one,  the type who like to educate themselves… then work for some time, get married, have kids and then settle down in life. Dr. Anju too wants the same in life. But when Jaswant Sisodia, that is Manoj Bajpai's character's eyes fall on her, it changes her and her life forever."

Continuing further, Tia states, "Just as Sita was trapped by Ravan in Lanka, my character too has been trapped by Jaswant. Sita was hoping that Ram would come and save her. But here there is no Ram to save her! But here Vibhishan is the hero, the one who will save her and set her free. In a way, it's Vibhishan who turns into Lord Ram for this Sita!"
