The Thieves Get 2 Years In Jail & 15,000 Fine For Breaking Into Sanjay Dutt's Sister Priya Dutt's Cafe

In November last year, two thieves broke into Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's politician sister Priya Dutt's cafe in Khar. The two unknown guys stole some cash and a few expensive electronic items. The case, which has been going for the last 10 months, has now reached a verdict.

A magistrate's court has sentenced Santosh Bhoir, a Nalasopara resident, and Niraj Kumar Kashyap, who lives in Santacruz, to two years of imprisonment. The courts also ordered a fine of Rs. 15,000 along with the return of stolen cash, if found by the police.

Santosh and Niraj Kumar had entered the cafe on the nights of November 16th and 17th, 2021. It was reported that two tabs of Samsung, two tabs of Lenovo, and some cash were stolen by the thieves. The court gave a verdict in favour of the cafe's owner, saying that such incidents will only stop if we give proper punishment to the culprits.
