Netflix India has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming Hindi series, The Royals, featuring Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, Lisa Mishra, and Luke Kenny. The trailer is disappointing and maintains that royal touch, resembling Netflix's previous debacles with a similar theme. It showcases a royal family embroiled in a property dispute, where the humor falls flat and does not allow it a chance to stand at all. The new-age Rajkumar falls for a female CEO of a company as "opposites attract" to resolve the conflict over Morpur's haveli.

The Netflix series team has commenced 2025 on a disappointing note with "The Roshan," as the poor PR team has completely failed to create any kind of awareness through their banal efforts. With The Royals, things seem even worse since both the cast and trailer offer little promise. Netflix needs a shift—a new direction, whether in content or PR teams—to avoid further decline.
