Prabhas’ upcoming film The RajaSaab is set to go global, with a confirmed release planned in Japan. The update was shared by producer Vishwa Prasad at the film’s pre-release party held in Hyderabad. The event was attended by lead actresses Niddhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar, along with the film’s team and industry guests.

Speaking at the event, Vishwa Prasad first addressed the delay surrounding Jana Nayagan, a project that has been awaiting certification. Calling the situation unfortunate, he expressed hope that the issue would be resolved soon. “It’s very unfortunate whatever is happening with Jana Nayagan. I hope the film gets the certificate and releases,” he said, drawing applause from the audience.

He then moved on to The RajaSaab and shared an important update about its international plans. According to the producer, the Prabhas-starrer will release in India first, across multiple Indian languages, before heading overseas. “The Raja Saab is releasing in India now, in our languages. We will release it in Japan after five-six months,” Vishwa Prasad confirmed.

This announcement has excited Prabhas’ fans, especially considering his growing popularity in Japan after the success of films like Baahubali. The Japanese market has shown strong interest in Indian big-budget films, and The RajaSaab is expected to benefit from that momentum.

Directed by Maruthi, The RajaSaab is described as a horror comedy that blends romance, humour and larger-than-life elements. With a strong domestic release followed by a planned Japan launch, the film is shaping up to be one of Prabhas’ most ambitious releases yet.
