As per a report in Boomerang, Warner Bros. and HBO are close to a deal for a Harry Potter reboot. The talks are about TV and cable worlds both, and at least one of them is sure to get a deal. However, the deal is not yet complete, with company CEO David Zaslav and HBO CEO Casey Bloys talking with Rowling about the series debuting on HBO and being a foundation for Warner Bros.' new Max streaming service.
