The Fantastic Four First Steps Box Office:

Disney and Marvel’s much-hyped reboot Fantastic Four First Steps has turned out to be another disappointment at the Indian box office, continuing the studio's recent streak of underwhelming releases. Despite the popularity of the brand, the film failed to connect with audiences and critics alike.

It opened decently but couldn’t sustain interest beyond the weekend. Backed by Marvel and Disney, expectations were high, but the film has joined the growing list of superhero flops that failed to deliver either emotionally or commercially. This latest stumble once again highlights the creative fatigue plaguing the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the current phase.

A reboot that was supposed to mark a fresh beginning has instead become another case study of a brand struggling to evolve and resonate. Audiences are clearly no longer rushing to theatres for the Marvel logo alone—substance and freshness matter now more than ever. Fantastic Four: First Steps lacked both.
