The Cinematographer Of Shah Rukh Khan & Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' Leaves The Project Due To Creative Issues

Shan Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's first ever collaboration, Dunki, has created a nice buzz all over. The social comedy is certainly one of the most awaited films of 2023. The duo is busy shooting for the film in Mumbai, but there is some bad news coming from the sets.The cinematographer of Dunki, Mr. Amit Roy, has quit the project, citing creative issues with director Rajkumar Hirani. Amit has worked with Hirani before for his last blockbuster, Sanju. Amit Roy revealed to Etimes that he and Hirani had issues understanding each other's vision, hence he quit the project.

Amit has shot some chunks of Dunki and said that those shots will be retained. However, he will no longer be part of this ambitious project. Amit has filmed for 18–19 days with Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu for Dunki. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on Christmas 2023, i.e., December 22.
