Netflix's upcoming flick, The Archies, an adaptation of the American comic book series of the same name, has got a release date. Hemed by Zoya Akhtar, the film will be released on December 7, 2023, on Netflix. Well, that keeps us exactly 100 days away from it.The Archies features Dot (Aditi Saigal) as Ethel Muggs, Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge, Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
The first look and teaser for The Archies were released a few months ago. Set in the 1960s, the film takes audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. This coming-of-age musical follows the lives of Riverdale’s favourite set of teenagers: Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton, seen through the lens of the unique Anglo-Indian community, exploring friendship, freedom, love, dance, music, heartbreak, and rebellion.
