Sushant Singh Rajput boosted everyone’s morale and sent across a strong message to his fans about suicide not being a solution in his last release Chhichhore. Ironically, he didn’t take his own advice and hanged himself from the ceiling of his Badra residence on Sunday morning.

The actor’s last release Chhichhore, in which he was seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor, dealt with mental health issues and the immense pressure on students to succeed . In the film his son tries to commit suicide and SSR then brings all his friends together to lift his son’s spirits. Sadly, there was no one to boost his morale during his last days.

The actor’s death has sent shockwaves across the nation. Reportedly, he was suffering from depression. Police has not recovered a suicide note, yet. The actor was dating Rhea Chakraborty and was in a relationship with his Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande a few years ago however, they broke up soon after he made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che.
