In this devotional ambiance, the embodied forms of Sant Nivruttinath, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Sopanadev, and their younger sister, Sant Muktabai, seemed to come alive at the Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir in Alandi. You know the occasion – the visit of the cast of the upcoming Marathi movie Sant Dnyaneshwaranchi Muktai. The devotees at the holy temple of Alandi were deeply moved by the moment, experiencing divine emotions as they witnessed the actors in the sacred forms.

The movie Sant Dnyaneshwaranchi Muktaai, directed and written by Digpal Lanjekar, is set to release on April 18th. To kick off the promotions, Sant Dnyaneshwar, the cast visited Alandi, dressed as their respective saintly characters, offering devotees a surreal experience. Sant Muktabai, known for her exceptional wisdom and devotion, holds a prominent place in the Bhakti Yoga tradition.
As the youngest sibling of Sant Nivruttinath, Sant Dnyaneshwar, and Sant Sopanadev, Muktabai's life was filled with spiritual brilliance and compassion. Despite her young age, she shouldered the responsibility of caring for her siblings after their mother's demise and provided solace to their followers. The movie beautifully unfolds the inspiring story of Muktabai and her family's spiritual journey.

The lead roles are played by Tejas Barve (as Sant Dnyaneshwar), Neha Naik (as Sant Muktabai), Akshay Kelkar (as Sant Nivruttinath), and Suraj Parasnis (as Sant Sopanadev). The movie also features Sameer Dharmadhikari, Mrunal Kulkarni, Ajay Purkar, Manoj Joshi, Yogesh Soman, Smita Shewale, Sachin Deshpande, Abhijit Shwetachandra, Nupur Daithankar, and Adinath Kothare in supporting roles.
