Tarun Mansukhani Ends Nine Year Marriage

Seems like this year is a bad one for Bollywood marriages. Some of the biggest names in Bollywood have separated from their better halves. The latest couple who split are Tarun Mansukhani and wife Karuna.

Reportedly, the Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani and his wife of nine years Karuna have called it quits. The divorce was filed by mutual consent and came through on 10th April 2014. Even though the reasons aren’t known the couple were said to be going through a rough patch for a long time. After a certain tabloid reported news of their divorce, Tarun got miffed with the reporter and posted this on his micro-blogging page, “Yes. My wife and I have parted ways. "However, contrary to the journalist's "source", our 'fights' have never been 'ugly'!! Far from it infact!! She has been my closest and best friend for 23 years... And continues to be so even today! Nothing has or will ever change that!! Thank you Karuna... For having been and continuing to be, such a wonderful part of my life!! Karuna says a big thank you to me too!! She also wants to kill the journalist for choosing such an awful picture of our 'happier times!!' So here's a better one instead!! Having done that, here's to turning the page in life. Cheers to... US!!"

Tarun’s projects Dostana 2 and Kootchie Kootchie Hota Hai with Dharma have been shelved for a long time. He is now said to be making a remake of the French film Priceless for Dharma. The film will star Sidharth Malhotra and Anushka Sharma.
