Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria's romantic action thriller Tadap has seen a decent opening at the Indian Box office. The film was released in more than 1600 screens in the domestic market and has found a youth audience coming in good numbers. The Milan Luthria directorial has collected in the range of 4 crore nett on the first day.
Tadap was competing with Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma starrer Antim: The Final Truth, which was released on 26th November. Antim has collected more than 27 crore nett in the first week but now it seems that the film has slowed down. The second Friday collections of the film are in the range of 1.20-1.25 crore nett. It will cross the 30 crore mark soon and the worldwide figures will cross 50 crore gross by the weekend.
Tadap and Antim both are expected to show jumps in the collections on Saturday. Tadap will get a bigger jump as it's a fresh film and will dominate the youth audience while Antim will target the mass audience. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi has crossed 190 crore nett mark in India and it's still running successfully. Sooryavanshi has collected 35-37 Lacs on its fifth Friday and firm is likely to finish in the range of 195 crore nett.
