Suspect Who Sent Bomb Threat to Salman Khan is Mentally Unstable – Police

Salman Khan threat case:

Yesterday, Salman Khan received another death threat, and the message was read by the Worli transport department on WhatsApp. The police started an investigation immediately and have now traced the details of the suspect.  

The suspect is a 26-year-old man living in a village in Vadodara, Gujarat. The police have sent him a notice to appear for questioning in the next 2-3 days, as he is the one using the number from which the threat message was sent. The details are still being investigated to look for a fake identity or someone else using the number instead.  

One of the most shocking details from the investigation is that the man using this number is found to be mentally unstable. Yes, the suspect is mentally unstable and is undergoing medical treatment, said the police in an official statement. The case is being handled by the Worli police, Mumbai, who have registered a case under Section 351(2)(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for criminal intimidation against an unidentified person.

Earlier, the message received by the Worli transport department read, "Will enter Salman Khan's house and kill him; if not, then will BLOW up his car with a BOMB." Speaking of Salman's security, the actor has been receiving such death threats from members of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang for some time now. Two individuals even fired gunshots at his house, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Salman met with former Chief Minister Mr. Eknath Shinde, who promised to ensure his security and provided him with high-end protection. Additionally, Salman has his own security team, including gunmen. He also installed bulletproof glass in his house to avoid a gunshot incident again.
