Sushant Singh Rajput
Though Sushant Singh Rajput’s last release Son Chiriya, didn’t work at the box-office he has three films to look forward to, Drive, Chhichhore and Dil Bechara. As he is gearing up for the release of the movies, he took out some time from his busy schedule to visit his ancestral home in Bihar.
SSR, who recently wrapped up Chhichhore, recently went to Bihar after 17 years. Though he was brought up in New Delhi, he was born in Maldiha in Purnea district of Bihar. After spending two days in Maldiha, where his paternal side of the family resides, Rajput headed to his mother’s ancestral home in Bornai.
Sushant lost his mother when he was sixteen, right before his board examinations. His nani and his late mother had asked for a mannat for his prosperity and Sushant returned to Bihar to perform some rituals to fulfill his mother’s wish.
Sushant also paid obeisance at Goddess Bagwati’s temple in Khagaria. There he also did the ritual of mundan however, he didn’t shave off his hair completely but just snipped a strand.
A huge crowd had gathered to get a glimpse of the actor and Sushant patiently greeted everyone. He also rode a bike and played cricket during his stay there.
