Looks like Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is turning out to become a complete Deol family affair. While Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are already an integral part of the franchise, Sunny's son, Karan Deol, has also written a portion of one song for the film. Now there's another addition!
The story of the film, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, has been credited to Lynda Deol. At the trailer launch of the film, when asked about who Lynda Deol is, Dharmendra said, "She is my daughter-in-law and Sunny's wife. She is from London and knows a lot about the place."
Sunny said, "The idea is about UK. Since the recession is going on there, she came up with a lot of inputs. So, we took the idea from there and sat down with Jassi (Jasvinder Singh Bath) and took it forward from there."
While Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will reprise their roles from the previous film, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva will play the female leads. The film also features Johnny Lever, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Sucheta Khanna in pivotal roles.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, is set to release on June 7.
