Actor Sunny Deol has expressed interest in taking the Ghayal franchise forward and is keen on making a third film in the series. However, the genial gent will not direct the third installment in the franchise.

Sunny, who directed Ghayal Once Again, said that he wants to continue the franchise and if there is a good script he is ready to back it. The actor added that he doesn't want to direct the third part as it gets difficult for him to act and direct simultaneously.

Sunny's acclaimed 1990-film Ghayal, which starred Meenakshi Seshadri and Amrish Puri was a superhit film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. While Ghayal Once Again, which released earlier in February, was a genuine sequel to the blockbuster as it took from where the previous film left, but the film failed to make a mark at the box office.

Meanwhile, Sunny has two projects in the pipeline, Bhaiyyaji Superhitt and the remake of Marathi film Poshter Boyz, which will be directed by actor Shreyas Talpade.
