Sudhir Mishra Chooses Younger Actress Over Chitrangada Singh For His Next Film

We had previously reported that Sudhir Mishra and Chitrangda Singh, who shared a mentor-muse relationship had a fall out. Things were so sour at one point that the two weren't even on talking terms with each other.

We have learned that the director is starting a political romance set in Northern India in September and yours truly will not be a part of the film. Chitrangda last worked with him in Inkaar (2013).

Apparently, Sudhir has been open about the fact that he wants a younger actress for the story and Chitrangda won't suit the role. This is a definite stab for the Inkaar actress as she is in her late 30s. About the fall out, the director maintains that minor altercations are a part of every relationship and the two have sorted their issues out and he will consider her for future roles that will match her caliber. A film starring Chitrangda, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor name Pehle Aap Janab was supposed to start a while ago but there were rumors that the project got shelved. Sudhir dismisses these rumors stating that the script is undergoing changes and the project will be launched on a bigger scale at a future date.
