The Khan war just migrated down South, it seems, if this piece of news is to be believed. Sources claim that director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who has directed Ekk Deewana Tha has now set his sights on remaking Tamil hit flick Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu starring Kamal Haasan and the director is still deciding about whether he should approach Salman Khan or his frenemy Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role.
Sources claim that the Tamil flick was quite a hit in the South as it was one of the more modern crime thrillers with some super advanced special effects and Hassan playing the role of a dare-devil cop. Buzz has it that as Salman recently wowed audiences with his cop role in Dabangg, he is being considered for the role though SRK too is being considered, despite the fact that the King Khan hasn't played a cop after his 2001 movie One 2 Ka 4.
Menon was quoted to have said, "We are showing the film around and are hoping that it gets picked up. As far as SRK and Salman go, all I can say is that it is a wish list. It would be great if either come on board, because it's a film for the masses."
Now only time will tell as to whether Dabangg Khan or Don bags the coveted role…
