Split With Arpita Did Not Hamper Relations With Salman : Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor, who is making his debut in the Yash Raj Films' Ishaqzaade, seems to be the talk of the town these days. However, the Kapoor lad has always been in the news for various reasons, even before he decided to become an actor.

His relationship with Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan was much talked about in the media. The two were in a relationship for a long time before they split. Arjun may have drifted apart from Arpita, but his relationship with mentor Salman Khan was unaffected.

Arjun Kapoor was quoted saying, "Yes, I was dating Arpita, but that was some years ago. We might not be in a relationship anymore but she continues to be my friend."

When asked if the split affected his relationship with Salman, he added, "Salman bhai is too big and mature to let these things come between friends. If there was a problem, he wouldn't have helped me lose 50 kilos and inspired me to take up acting."

Arjun insists that he is focusing solely on his career right now.
