Mohan Babu accused of murdering Soundarya:

Soundarya, a renowned name in South Indian cinema, starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Sooryavansham. She lost her life in a private aircraft crash in 2004. Now, more than two decades later, reports suggest that a complaint has been filed against Tollywood actor Mohan Babu, implicating him in her death.

According to News18 Kannada, the complaint was registered in Andhra Pradesh’s Khammam district. Reports state that at the time of the accident, Soundarya and her brother were en route to Karimnagar to attend a political campaign event for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Tragically, both perished in the crash, and it is said that Soundarya was pregnant at the time.

The complainant, identified as Chittimallu, alleges that Soundarya's death was not an accident but a planned murder linked to a property dispute with Mohan Babu. The complaint claims that Mohan Babu wanted to acquire six acres of land from Soundarya and her brother in Jalpalli village, Shamshabad. However, when they refused to sell, tensions arose between them.

Following the actress’s demise, reports allege that Mohan Babu illegally took possession of the land. The complaint has been submitted to the Khammam ACP and District Officer, urging the government to utilize the land for public welfare, such as orphanages, military families, police personnel, or media-related purposes. Additionally, the complainant has requested police protection, citing safety concerns.
