Sonu Sood To Play Pullela Gopichand In PV Sindhu’s Biopic

Sonu Sood announced last year that he will be bankrolling a biopic on Olympic silver medalist and India’s ace badminton player, PV Sindhu. Now, we have learnt that he will also be playing a key role in the movie.

Sonu has confirmed that he will be essaying the role of former badminton player and Indian Badminton Team’s Chief National Coach, Pullela Gopichand. Sonu has already discussed the role with Gopichand and is really looking forward to portray 'someone of his stature' on screen.

The lead actress of the film hasn’t been locked, yet. Sonu has revealed that they are presently finalizing the technicians and that the casting process will begin soon. The cast and crew will be announced by the end of the year and Sonu stated that if everything falls into place, they will begin shooting towards the end of 2019.
