Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen playing the role of a starlet in upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara was initially supposed to be named Yasmin in the movie, but now, it seems that the character's name would be changed to avoid controversies.

Buzz has it that Sinha's role is inspired by Mandakini, who was said to be quite close to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim but when the makers found out that Mandakini's real name was Yasmin Joseph, they decided to change the character's name from Yasmin to Jasmine. The film stars Akshay Kumar, who plays the role of Shoaib, a character based on Dawood and Imran Khan, who plays the role of street goon.

In the recent past, Sanjay Gupta had changed the names of some of the characters from Shootout At Wadala to avoid controversies.
