'Smoking was the toughest part' Reveals 'The Dirty Picture' Bombshell Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan might have played the fire-hot sex siren in her recently released The Dirty Picture but the actress claimed that smoking for the role was the toughest part of the job. The actress, who is a non-smoker, nevertheless revealed that she was always fascinated by smokers.

Balan was quoted to have said, "I used to think smoking a cigarette was very cool. I always thought that at some stage in life, I would become a smoker. Though I had learned to smoke for a play in college, which never happened eventually, I never quite had the hang of it. For this role, I had to smoke, so it was the toughest part for me."

In the movie The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan plays a make-up artiste who turns into the reigning sex symbol of the 80s cinema and the movie tracks her rise to success and her eventual downfall.
