Smita Thackeray To Produce Biopic On Balasaheb Thackeray Titled 'Saheb'

Recently, political party Shiv Sena celebrated its golden jubilee on the 19th of June, 2016. On this occasion, Smita Thackeray, who is also a film producer, revealed that she will be producing a biopic titled Saheb on her late father-in-law and Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray.

The biopic will be directed by her elder son Rahul Thackeray and expressing her happiness at this, Smita Thackeray shared, “Balasaheb has always been an enigma and a legend for both his followers and his family. It is always an honor to be a part of his journey. I believe his life's story needs to be shared and I am glad that my son, Rahul, has taken up the challenge on making this biopic on his grandfather and my father-in-law, "Saheb".

The film Saheb will be going on floor this year in October and will depict the life of the Balasaheb Thackeray. The cast of the film is yet to be been finalized but we are quite curious to see which actor will be signed up to play the Tiger.
