After the grand launch in Sultanpur Lodhi, India, by former Prime Minister, Doctor Manmohan Singh, Indian Cricket Team’s former captain Kapil Dev and Dubai-based entrepreneur Ajay Sethi have now taken their sought-after book, We The Sikhs to America to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Kapil Dev and Ajay Sethi are presently in the US and they are launching their hallowed publication in America through a city tour. The tour began on the eve of the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi on April 13. The duo unveiled their celebrated book amidst much fanfare in Selma Gurudwara in Fremont, California and then headed to Gurudwara Sahib of Fremont on April 14. Their next stop was the Gurudwara Sahib of San Jose.
Sikhs attended the events with full enthusiasm and cheered for the terrific two for bringing together 100 Gurudwaras, across the world, in one book. Both, Kapil Dev and Ajay Sethi were overwhelmed by the love and respect that their prized publication received.
Talking about the revered coffee table book, Mr. Sethi, the Chairman of Channel 2 Group, said, “It gives me great pleasure and honour to be a part of the book – We The Sikhs. Few years ago, my dear friend, Kapil had a great vision which today has been fulfilled and in November last year we launched the book in Amritsar on the occasion of Guru Nanak’s 550th anniversary and now we plan to travel to several cities in the U.S and worldwide to continue this unique.”

We The Sikhs features never-seen-before pictures and original paintings of 100 Gurudwaras across the globe. The book is divided into three sections- The Gurus, The History and Artifacts and Gurudwaras.
From San Jose they will move to San Diego on April 15. The book will be launched in Phoenix on April 16, in Vancouver on April 18 and later the tour will move to the East Coast, Toronto, New York and then London.
