Sikandar will be released on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The film is scheduled to premiere on Eid 2025, and since the Eid festivities begin on Monday, March 31, with March 30 being a Sunday holiday, the makers have opted for an unconventional Sunday release.

Previously, Salman Khan's earlier release, Tiger 3, produced by Yash Raj Films, was also released on a Sunday. Many were dissatisfied with this decision, as the film performed underwhelmingly at the box office. Now, Sikandar will enjoy back-to-back holidays on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Will this help it attain the Super Hit status?

The news has been confirmed by a source to the BollyHungama portal. "Sikandar’s release date has been finalized. It'll hit cinemas on Sunday, March 30. The makers are confident that this is the ideal day for release. Sunday will be a significant holiday, particularly in Maharashtra, as Gudi Padwa falls on that day. In addition, Ramzan Eid will be celebrated on Monday, March 31. There will be a post-Eid holiday effect on Tuesday, April 1, and Wednesday, April 2, in many centers as well. The collections are expected to see a rise again from Friday, April 4. Therefore, until Sunday, April 6, the film’s collections should remain very strong," the source informed the portal.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar stars Salman Khan in the titular role, along with Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj. The film will be released in cinemas on Eid 2025, most likely following the Sunday release trend seen with Khan's last release, Tiger 3 (2023).
