Shweta Tripathi Joins ‘Manikarnika’ Cast

Actress Shweta Tripathi, who shot to fame with Masaan, has reportedly joined the cast of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Manikarnika, which is based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi and the actress will start shooting for the film soon.

A source attached to the film said, "Shweta is all excited to play the part of Kashi Bai in one of the most anticipated film Manikarnika, very soon she will join the cast of the film and will begin formal training of it." Reportedly, Shweta too will learn sword-fighting and horse riding for the film as she will play a warrior in the Rani’s army.

Directed by Krish, the film is slated to release on April 27, 2018.
