Shriya Saran Exposes Impersonator Misusing Her Name:

Bollywood and South Actress Shriya Saran has raised an alarm on social media after discovering that someone has been impersonating her on WhatsApp and reaching out to celebrities using a fake number. Taking to Instagram, the Drishyam star shared a screenshot of the number and called out the unidentified person for misusing her identity and wasting people’s time.

In her post, Shriya expressed frustration and disbelief over the incident. “Who ever this idiot is. Please stop writing to people and wasting time! Unfortunately this is weird. I feel bad for wasting people’s time. This is not me! Not my number!” she wrote. She clarified that she does not contact people randomly and that any official communication always happens through proper channels, not personal messaging apps.

Shriya added a touch of humour to her otherwise stern warning. On a lighter note, she mentioned that the impersonator was at least reaching out to people she admires and would genuinely love to collaborate with someday. “The only good thing is, this crapy person is reaching out to people I admire and would love to work with! Very strange! Why would you waste your time to do this? Go get a life, not someone’s impersonator,” she added.

The actor’s public clarification aims to protect colleagues, collaborators, and industry professionals from potential scams or misunderstandings.
