Shreyas Talpade - Alok Nath Booked in Fraud Case:

Bollywood actors Shreyas Talpade (Welcome 3 fame) and Alok Nath (Vivah fame), along with 22 others, have been named in an investment fraud case in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district. The complaint alleges that the Loni Urban Multi-State Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society, with the actors serving as brand ambassadors, defrauded over 500 investors of approximately ₹5 crore. 

According to the complainant, Babli from Baghpat, the society promised high returns on investments but ceased operations in November 2024, leaving investors without their funds. The actors' endorsements are under scrutiny to determine their role in attracting investors.

This incident is part of a broader pattern, as a similar case was registered against Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath in Sonipat, Haryana, earlier this year, involving another credit cooperative society accused of similar fraudulent activities. 

Authorities are investigating the extent of the actors' involvement and have urged other potential victims to come forward. The case highlights the importance of due diligence before investing in financial schemes, especially those endorsed by public figures.
