According to a source quoted by Mid-Day, Naagin has been in development for a long time, with the makers taking extra care to perfect every detail. “Naagin has been in development for a long time, and the team wanted to get everything right — from the VFX design to the casting. With Shraddha locked in, the rest of the cast has fallen into place. The plan is to start shooting by April,” the source revealed.

Shraddha Kapoor’s casting has significantly accelerated the project, which is said to rely heavily on visual effects and detailed world-building. Given the fantasy-driven subject of Naagin, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the film matches global technical standards. Pre-production work, including VFX planning and look tests, is already underway.
