Talk about sibling love and the first imagery that comes to mind is that of Dev Anand singing Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka to Zeenat Aman <Hare Rama Hare Krishna - 1971> or Amitabh Bachchan getting all emotional for Farida Jalal with Dekh Satka Hoon Main <Majboor - 1974>. Of course, this was all way back in the 70s and during last four decades, the whole dimension of sibling love has changed. This was all the more prevalent in 2015 release Dil Dhadakne Do where Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra redefined sibling relationship.

Now in the next few weeks, actors are getting all the more experimental and stepping into a different zone altogether.

Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai - 14th July

Shraddha Kapoor plays the title role of Haseena in this Apoorva Lakhia directed film. She enacts the part of Haseena, sister of Dawood Ibrahim, who is played by her real life sibling Siddhanth Kapoor. This could well be the first time when a real life brother-sister are playing real life gangster siblings for screen. If the First Look poster of the film is any indication, this one should be a fiery narrative in the offering. Shraddha and Siddhanth have never shared screen space before and now that they are doing so in Haseena - The Queen of Mumbai, it is for a deserving affair indeed.

Dobaara - See Your Evil - 19th May

Another real life siblings who are playing brother and sister on-screen are Saqib Saleem and Huma Qureshi. This time around it is a horror affair, Dobaara - See your Evil. The film is an official adaptation of Hollywood flick Oculus. Again, Saqib and Huma have never come together on screen and now that they are doing so for the Prawaal Raman directed film, one can indeed expect this to be special. The film was completed a while back and was waiting for the right release period to arrive. Now that it is doing so on 19th May, one waits to see the kind of thrills and chills that it has to offer.

Behen Hogi Teri - 26th May

Ok, so don't get misled by the title here. Though the film is titled Behen Hogi Teri, it isn't actually based on sibling love. As a matter of fact, 'Behen Hogi Teri' is a slang used in North India where guys (in their playful manner) tease each other by saying this. The youngsters in picture are Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan and they certainly aren't playing siblings in the film. As a matter of fact, Rajkummar is wooing Shruti in this fun filled romcom. So far, a First Look poster and a song from the film have been released. While there is no 'Behen bhai' song in the offering here, one waits to see how the title eventually plays out.
